Stiff-leg deadlift w/ curved bar

Any serious disadvantage to doing a stiff-leg deadlift with a curved curling bar as opposed to a straight bar? I only have access to the former, but want to make sure it won't screw up my form in some way where I could potentially hurt myself.

Do you mean one of those ez-curl bars?

One serious disadvantage, other than the probable awkwardness, is that it may not be rated for the amount of weight you're using.

Just use dumbbells instead

Just make sure your wrists aren't titled in some concerning way. I wouldn't push your max using an EZ bar, but it shouldn't be a problem otherwise.

Thanks. Feels fine on my wrists, it was my back I was worried about. And I'm not doing that much weight, sub-250 all-in, so I doubt I'll have a problem.
