gut has nothing to do with making music. if you're really good at it [at least don't suck] ppl tend to overlook appearance__ prolly even hygiene... if you're really, really good... maybe

+1 I played in a punk style band til I was 37, would still be playing if I had more free time. And i managed to suck on every chord I played too.
