So if i were to buy an alternate belt for the buckle, should I go for the 1" or 1.5"? Thanks a lot, J. You came here to chew bubble gum and measure your EG belt... and you're all out of bubble gum.

It's definitey wider than 1". 1.5" is my best guess.

LA - I looked thru a lot of the pages for a price for the belt buckle alone assuming the belt + buckle was the $170 quoted ?
WHat is the cost for the buckle alone .. brass and other materials respectively each ?

Um, the buckle was not for sale alone, and there are no more orders being taken. However, if you really like the belt, my friend Gary Drinkwater (www.drinkwaterscambridge.com) has some left - more black (silver/pewter buckle) than brown (with brass buckle) left, last I heard. He's having a 40-60% off sale right now, but I'm not sure whether the belts are on sale. I think that Odin has them as well, and perhaps other stores, but Boston/Cambridge prices are generally cheaper than NYC and LA or SF prices. Daiki says that all belts are in heavy demand right now, and he has none in stock (they are all made to order for the retailers) so everyone will be getting any new stock in until August or so, earliest.

Cheers,

Fok.

What's the status on the SF EG belt? I can't wait to wear mine with my Canes!

I'm curious about the belt. My life feels incomplete without it.

Me too. Unfortunately, those English chaps work leisurely. The belts are expected to be here end of August/beginning of September though.

I got a message from Daiki yesterday dudes. Looks like the entire belt making process is slowed up this year due to a backorder of the buckles (none of the stores have their new shipments in yet either.) Looks like Mid-October. Yeah, long wait, I know. Blame it on the English

We don't need the English

Got confirmation from Daiki that the belts will be shipped from England next week. Get your pennies ready. Once I get them, I will ship once a week, probably on Mondays (because I need to work during the week, and will do all the packing stuff on the weekend.)

More details to follow.

Oh, and I'll be flaunting mine the moment I land them
Grey striped W+H slim fit hoodie, blue/black Engineered Garments belt, 5 EPs and grey fleece chucks. I'll be so hot.
