not it doesn't.

where do I have to sign that iconic films of my youth don't get a banal and stupid remake version of today? they ruined rollerball, in 2010 they will remake "the warriors", now "tron", if they ever remake "silent running" I will throw my tv out of the window and never watch ANY film again ..

Honestly, Silent Running could use a remake. I'd like to enjoy that movie, but Joan Baez's wailing really ruins it for me.

i was concerned it would lose much of the style and charm of the original but it looks pretty ******* cool

I always liked the original arcade game. The controls are what did it for me.
