Japanese Denim - Page 7

My 5EPs also say: Got Made in Japan, and the 5EP site states that their jeans are made in Japan (not in so many words.)

Those are legit. If Richard could make jeans like that, he should start his own label. Those jeans really, really look like the Bootcut Dark Worn rather than the Straight down, though.

You people are crazy with your bootcut talk! They're straight I tells ya!

All I know is that's one of the most natural-looking washes I've ever seen on a pair of pre-washed jeans. Why must you be too short for me, 5EP? And why must you cost so much?

How much of an inseam do you need? Mine are marked 32, but measure 33" when laid flat. If I stretch the pant leg out, they measure a hair under 34". Very, very long for a labeled 32 inseam.

Really? Wow. Nevermind, then. I had gathered from another thread that they were a true 32" or so. 33" is just about perfect. Now I have a potential use for my tax refund, instead of splitting it wisely between savings and paying down a credit card....

There is a pair of 34" inseam straight worns for sale in the Buying and selling section. If my 32 inseams are any indication, they measure longer than marked, and probably seem even longer because unless you wear them pretty high, they will sink a little to your hips (the rise is pretty high) for a slight dropped crotch effect (see the 5EP site - this is the way the jeans seem intended to be worn.)

Ah yes, forgot about this. If you wear them with the crotch high, the waist will be at your belly button. Wearing them 'low', or normal, give you even more length.

Aha! I've been trying to figure out how to increase my length...

Denime bishes! One wash with not much wear yet, so kinda bland at the moment.

Now that's an odd place to put that...

They are very dark, and do not like to lose indigo. Well, my white shoes do have some blue on them, but my hands never seem to get any on them.

Eternal bishes! Same deal as before...

Strike a pose!

My milkshake brings all the...wait, no, nevermind.

Alot of that creasing is from my knee, but you can still see some of the natural wrinkles in the denim.

Both these and the Denime have silver* buttons with brass* rivets.

Unlike the Denime, these turn my hands blue constantly. They still look fairly dark though.

*I'm talking about color, who knows what they're made of.
