Eternal: A hybrid between 5EP's modern feel and Denime's heavy wear. Slimmer than Sorahikos, (most) Denimes, but not as slim as 5EP.

My 811s are a lot slimmer than my straight 5EPs. I'd say that the 5EPs are kinda baggy in fact. Do you have the bootcut 5EP? Maybe that one is slimmer.

I do own the bootcuts, but I tried on the straight downs as well, and found them to be rather slim. 5EPs are somewhat of an anomoly with fits, from what I've found though. Where some people seem to fit them normally, others find it to be very odd and not slim or formfitting. I'm not sure the reason as its only hearsay - they've all fit me very well.

That's because the raw and one washes fit quite differently. The one washes and predistressed styles fit considerably more fitted than the raws, which shrink about 3-4% after a few washes. I have the one washes, and they definitely are not as loose as the raws in the same size (32).

Weird, I have the 'Dark Worn', and, again, they're not slim at all. I'm thin, but I think I have big thighs/ass for my waist size.

I swore that before I bought them everybody said they'd be like a '47 501 fit, slightly baggy.

Well, they are slightly antifit in the butt and thighs, very slightly so, but the legs are definitely not baggy or relaxed at all.

Sorry for the horrible pics and dirty mirror, but you get the idea. Maybe our definitions of slim just differ? Here a Sven picture for reference. There's basically no room in the waist/hips/upper thighs/crotch. That doesn't mean I'm complaining about the 5EP! I love them, in fact! They're the only pair of 'relaxed' jeans I own, and the denim is just unreal. I couldn't stop rubbing my leg when I first got them . PS I hate you for making me put on pants and a shirt at 12:30 am! EDIT: PPS, go go gadget convertible and Texas sun for maximum tan-ness. I swear I don't look that dark in person.

Ahaz, I can truly honestly say that the Straight Downs I tried on were a lot slimmer than those. Perhaps some variation between seasons? Anyway.. Man I love your Svens. Wish any of my jeans fit me that well.
I think you're right about the variations Brian. What else could explain it? And thanks about the Svens. They're my 'go to' jean whenever I have a date with a new lady friend.

Of course, they've kinda spoiled me as far as fit goes. I'm sure Mauro, Richard at FF, and tons of other store owners out there hate me for being such a picky bastard.

Phone Mauro, and ask him to take every conceivable measurement on 3 different sizes of two different cuts of APCs. He loves that

You guys are more obsessed than I am!

Hmm, yeah. Those are a little baggier (though not by as much as I thought you had in mind - I think our standards are a little different). Must be either our body types or variations in season/qc issues. The Sven's look great, btw... I would obviously wear them looser, or course

Ouch! I feel bad enough making him measure inseams, and then sending one pair back for exchange.

Yeah, after I said 'baggy' for the 12th time, I figured I might been seen as acting like a crazed anorexic by some of you guys who prefer a less ass-hugging fit.

I have the dark worn straight 5eps, and I agree with you that they're almost "baggy" .

But, I don't agree that 47 501s are considered slightly baggy...correct me if I'm wrong but I thought they were the slimmest 501s?

I suppose compared to an Acne max or Dior 17 the 47 could be considered baggy, depends on definition I guess.
I'm just goin' by what I've heard from others - I've never tried on a pair of '47 501s. Or any 501s for that matter!
It's kind of argued whether 66s or 47s are the slimmest 501s. I'm not sure to be honest as I'm unfamiliar with the 66s. Anyway, I do consider them to be a loose, anti-fit, even though they're the slimmest 501s. Yea, we all definitely have different definitions of what's slim and baggy and what not. To me, those svens are super slim on you.. maybe because your body frame. I would call the 5EPs a "regular fit" on you.. that's pretty standard as far as baggy goes.. though I prefer much slimmer myself. My RB11s are my baggiest jeans, and they're pretty trim, comparitively speaking (slimmer than your 5EPs, no doubt). I'd say they're pretty close to the Regular Ralf thigh.

Yeah, I had to bring it back :P

These bad boys look pretty nice, can't find them on the sda fit chart though.
