Brilliamt summer jeans. You get a nice book with the box.

Very cool. The rise is a bit high, isn't it? They don't have measurements but they seem to be some pre-1937 Lee Repro. I also suspect that the color would look pretty excellent after some wearing in.

Would you say the denim quality (not characteristic, I've read about these...) is similar between those three pairs?

I'd say it's safe to say that denim quality is quite high in all of these, and that cut is the most significant differentiator amongst them.

Errybody's got Sammies and 103s, get the F-heads.

Front rise is about 11.5" - not that high really.

I could pull that off every once in awhile, but that's old-man territory for me. Most of my jeans are under 10" It's really tempting me to buy them, especially since they're so lightweight. I love lightweight jeans. And 2x1 would be a nice addition to a 3x1 dominated wardrobe.

They're tempting, do you know if:
1)They're sanforized
2)one wash or raw
3)should I size down/up

not sanforized
can probably get both
shrink to tagged size

I have both the samurai 505 and sd 103 and they are both quality jeans. It's all about which look you prefer.

Hey i know they arent your usuall japanese denim, but what do you think of these jeans? http://item.rakuten.co.jp/d-stock/lib-loo/

If you like them... I would prefer no distressing, or another brand's distressing, like Yen, 5EP, Denime, Full Count, Chimala, Eternal. Also, I would prefer standard back-pockets.

To post some news new from the other SF, courtesy of jake431: "Yep! I emailed them (and used the Google Translator to create the Japanese text) with both English and Japanese text, asking if they would ship internationally to the USA. They said they would; I should email them letting them know what jeans I wanted and they would send me via email an English language order form for said jeans. The only problem is due to my automatic email signature (the Albert Einstein quote below), they think my name is Albert Einstein. -Jake" So i'm poking around the skull jeans webshop right now. Also, Bears x Eternal jeans in its second reincarnation! Check them out.

I've also been looking at that Bears Eternal "Tiger" model. Slim cut, same denim as the 811. Looks really nice. The measurements seem to support the notion of sizing up though.

As for Skull, I've been looking at the 5507 model (see them here. They seem to be way oversized, almost like APC. 91 cm waist on the size 34 model? That's like 36 inches. I don't like the idea of ordering either of these with so little faith in their sizing.

Holy shit, I want these. What is the measurement of the front rise for a size 34? Is it 27cm?
Look nice, arrrgh a new pair enters the fray.
USE THE SEARCH BUTTON ;p yeah, i believe it's 27cm. 21cm leg opening, am i reading that right? that makes it pretty slim indeed.
a low-waisted version of the 811?
