Very cool. The rise is a bit high, isn't it? They don't have measurements but they seem to be some pre-1937 Lee Repro. I also suspect that the color would look pretty excellent after some wearing in.

I'd say it's safe to say that denim quality is quite high in all of these, and that cut is the most significant differentiator amongst them.

Front rise is about 11.5" - not that high really.

I could pull that off every once in awhile, but that's old-man territory for me. Most of my jeans are under 10" It's really tempting me to buy them, especially since they're so lightweight. I love lightweight jeans. And 2x1 would be a nice addition to a 3x1 dominated wardrobe.

They're tempting, do you know if:
1)They're sanforized
2)one wash or raw
3)should I size down/up

not sanforized
can probably get both
shrink to tagged size

I have both the samurai 505 and sd 103 and they are both quality jeans. It's all about which look you prefer.

If you like them... I would prefer no distressing, or another brand's distressing, like Yen, 5EP, Denime, Full Count, Chimala, Eternal. Also, I would prefer standard back-pockets.

I've also been looking at that Bears Eternal "Tiger" model. Slim cut, same denim as the 811. Looks really nice. The measurements seem to support the notion of sizing up though.

As for Skull, I've been looking at the 5507 model (see them here. They seem to be way oversized, almost like APC. 91 cm waist on the size 34 model? That's like 36 inches. I don't like the idea of ordering either of these with so little faith in their sizing.

Holy shit, I want these. What is the measurement of the front rise for a size 34? Is it 27cm?
