Honestly, I don't know how he does it. I think it is probably a combo of not sleeping and having a trusted partner run the day-to-day of the business. I'm not privy to utilization info, so I can't be sure, but AFAIK, he hits his targets. That said, the firm is known for being slightly less strict about hours than some other firms.
From the look of it, most of the partners don't read GQ. If anything, they probably get a good chuckle out of his pictures.
I never heard a negative comment about him, but then again, I worked in a different practice. He's well regarded.
