Glad you liked him! His rhymes are insane, and he pairs them with great beats. His two albums are Revolutionary Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. While both are good, my favorite is definitely Vol. 2. Be sure to check out the following tracks on Vol 2: - 'The 4th Branch', where he talks about this secret branch of the government which controls what 99% of americans know, and influences everything we do, and is turning us into mindless drones. He is, of course, talking about the media. - 'The Cause of Death', where he explains the current state of affairs concerning America is our own fault. - 'Peruvian Cocaine', probably my favorite track, has a different underground rapper rap the part of each of the individuals involved in the coke trade, from the farm slave to the distributor to the politician to the DEA officer. Really shows how corrupt our image of the war on drugs is.

I find IT to be too preachy and angry without focus. I did like "Freedom of Speech". If you like IT, you might like Dead Prez.

No, nothing like it. He was released honorably, bronze star and two arcoms, etc etc. He spent most of his combat tour working with the U of Baghdad and environs. Developed very strong opinions about what was and was not working, but couldn't publicly criticize until he got out.

Curious scnupe--beats? Lyrics? Voice? Or just too far gone to have any hope The beats aren't his, he pulled them from a guy who doesn't do anything else. I already convinced him to lay down his own for the next album.

I don't like his voice. I couldn't even listen to what was said talking about becuase his voice was an immediate turn off, so no comment on the lyrics. Aslo, from what I recall, the beats sounded like an 16-bit video game.

Thanks for the honesty man. Feedback is getting passed on. I'm more of a rock/jazz kind of guy so have no idea what does or doesn't work for hip hop.

Posting that you hate rap in a thread about rap is trolling.
