LOL! No pun intended at all wurger, and serious respect on your shoe collectiion!

Still considering my second Vass order. Had to get a pair of Alden longwings in color #8 cordovan during last weeks visit in NYC at Alden Madison. My first and so far only Vass order was a brown suede U-last loafer and now considering another U-last pair but can't decide on the gold or brown (or even plum) museum calf. Should be an austerity brogue. I think. I love that there is so many choices but on the other hand you would like a budget like that guy on this thread (sorry can't rememeber the name) who ordered four pairs at once? Respect!

Has anyone ever received the wrong pair of shoes by vass? My shoes were made in a different last than what was ordered. On top, the welt & heel color was also incorrect. I sure hope they will take it back and refund my shipping fees...sigh...all that waiting and excitement for more than 1 month...

Whatever the explanation, you did not receive the shoes you ordered and they should be replaced on Vass' dime.

Yes, I have. They were very easy to deal with. They sent me their account number on DHL and had DHL pick up the package at My home, and of course I didnt have to pay for it . The only problem was to wait one more month...

I can imagine your disappointment, I have my first pair coming next month, and would feel the same if they were made to the wrong specs.

It is good to know how a company addresses a mistake, so I look forward to an update...

   I had a similar problem with a vass order recently and is the reason I don't have 2 instead of the single delivered.

   it's also the reason I won't take delivery of an order without photos going forward.

   my experience was disappointing but handled without problem & the correct one is being made.

   unless there is some unknown factor mitigating, I feel sure vass will correct the mistake.

Yup - happened to me as well. Ended up actually very happy with the different last but more importantly, Reszo addressed the issue extremely well. Needless to say, I am still a happy costumer.
