Yes, I agree. Beautiful colour, but looking more closely the side panel streaks in the dye are not good. I think something more subtle on such a fine pair of shoes would have been more suitable.

Anyone has experience with the R last? Would be good to know how the fit is compared to F last in Oxford.

R last is quite a bit roomier than F. Wider forefoot and heel and, I think, higher instep. In the same size R and F, the F is a snug it and the lacing closes to a V. For the R, there's more room all around and the lacing closes pretty much all the way unless I have on thicker socks. Jury's still out on whether one is ultimately more comfortable than the other. Both seem nicely wearable at the moment.
