first impression, nice colourway, the picture didn't do justice, way more deep in real life

very soft and supple leather, never thought will be this soft, crease quite easily
first try, fit is quite good, a little bit big on the vamp area, but the others fill up quite nice, i think i can't go down half size with this

K last chisel is nice, but a little bit bulbous when you actually wear it compared when you see from the picture
Lasted shoe tree is great, but for the money, i'd prefer tree from cedar wood

as for Ascot, they're very helpful with sizing and sammy is very patient for answering all my question
at first i'm reluctant and doubtful with the outcome, but now after handling it, i'm quite happy with my Vass

Not my cup of tea, but to choose the color and last for first Vass you have got be be pretty adventurous ...

Very nice shoes. I like that oiled green leather a lot on the Alt Wiens I have. It wears very nicely IMO. Enjoy!

I hope the flash is making the color look like that. Making me have second a thoughts on ordering that color.

I have a pair of oiled green calf and they sure look different under natural daylight....they are decidedly green but the opposite of bright green....more muted.

Whereas bozz's shoes look to me what I would call olive. I think its the lighting conditions and the camera settings.

without flash, the colour is not too olive, a little muted, but there's still so much sheen in the shoes,
i think Ascot must've polish them first before shipment?

my first pair of Vass: F last OE II in oxblood, size 40.5 in H width. There is hope for us really wide footed people!

They fit wonderfully but are a little snug on the top of my foot around the bottom two laces/eyelets. Is this due to the high instep or low tow box on the F last? I am hoping they loosen up after a few wears, but is there a similar last that might fit me better considering these issues? Can't wait to start working on another pair.

These look very nice. Great choice. And the photo shows the oxblood color well.

I am hoping to have some F last coming in this week and am looking forward to seeing how they fit me. I hope yours loosen up that little bit that you need.

Here's a shot of my R-last Budapesters on my feet. Fairly heavily cropped and so I hope the photo quality isn't too poor.

Awesome shoes. Didn't know they have H fitting. What's your size in AE/American, EG, or JL?
