sstomcat, thank you as always, the fit is perfect, simple as that, I liked the black pair so much I wanted to have a brown pair too.

Rikod, Nice colour on thos P2 Boots. How do you find the F last in comparison to the P2 last. I may consider a Peter last in pair of boots. My first F last should be completed shortly.

Did not mean to interrupt but I have a pair in F Last and P2 last and find the P2 quite generous compared to the F. I think I could get away by taking P2 last a half size smaller than F. I wonder if Rikod agrees.

I asked the shop and they said that the F wide fitting (G) was about like the P2, albeit with a different toe shape.

The New Peter (P2) last have a bit more space in the toes but the fit is very similar, I wear the same size on both and they fit very well. I think if you downsize for the P2 it will be small.

Lobbs, be careful with the Peter last, that is a different fit and look, I didn't like it, you do have to upsize for the Peter in my opinion.

Have a couple of pairs on the F last, wanting something similar in the heel, instep, toebox, but with a less elongated toe. I assume this points towards the P2 last?

Just received my first pair of Vass shoes. Now I know what all the hoopla is about. As good as these photos are, the actual shoes look 10 times better.

I was a bit concerned that the K Last wouldn't work for me so I went with the F Last. But then I was fearful the F Last would not look as good in the two tone. As it turns out I really had nothing to be afraid of. These shoes simply look amazing.

I'm sorry I was so happy with my shoes I almost forgot to mention Sammy at Ascot Shoes. Sammy did a marvelous job, and he had tremendous patience while assisting me with sizing on my first pair of Vass shoes. Great communication and everything you would wish when buying shoes of this nature. Thank you Sammy, and I look forward to my next Vass purchase sometime in the future.

Nice selection Ascotshoes. All the pictures are pretty close-up though. I personally like to see the shoes from the wearers perspective, so I can see what they will look like on my feet. That is also the best way to see the shape of the different lasts IMO.
