I have these in size 44, and while I like them a lot, they are just a tad too big for me. If anybody has the problem of having received a pair in 43.5 that are too small, I would love to trade!

Jonas, what are your shoes sizes for other brands?

How much is a pair of shoes in shell cordovan?

Can anyone here translate a 10.5EEE (I measure around an 11E brannock) in the AE 5 last to the corresponding size in the Vass 3636 last? I just received my shoes from Vass in a size 45 and I feel like are a bit big.

Are you buying them from the store or online?  Are you getting a standard make or have them create a new design?  You are better off sending VASS an email (info@vass-cipo.hu) as price might vary depending on some factors.

I think they were 165,000 Forint in the store.  I don't remember seeing a lot of cordovan make ups when I was there last month.  In think I only saw one shell on display.

How much is in Euro? Thanks.

If you were referring to my shoes above, regarding the age, they are a few years old and have had fairly regular use. Shell is resilient, as my shoes have taken some bumps here and there with no ill effects after a bit of brushing and the very occasional Renovateur treatment.

I think Vass shell is ~$900 or so now. Could be wrong.

It could very well be.  It really depends on the make up of the shoes.  Boots will cost more than slippers.  Not sure if color of shell affects the prices as well.  I can only comment on what I remember seeing in their store and the price of my recent order (shell saddle). That's why it's best to ask Vass for pricing and this thread for sizing advice.

Cordovan is an extra c.€100 on top of calf, but ail Vass to confirm

I've been trying to read this thread on there. I'm about ready to get some of these beauties however need opinions on sizing.

I wear in C&J Drummond on the 348 last size 6.5E UK which probably fit me the best out of all the other shoes I have. Typically everything else I own in English brands are 7E UK (Cheaney/Bodiley)
*Also just bought C&J Rosemoor in 358 last 6.5E UK which fits like a glove.

After my findings on the thread I think I "could" be 40.5 in the F, and half size bigger 41 in the U

Can you provide your thoughts (and proxied price) - I'm thinking of getting OE II in F last and old DM in either U/K last

Thanks in advance!

Just got word.

My first pair of Vass shoes are ready and should be on their way either Wednesday or Thursday.
