With apologies, I'm hoping someone with experience can help me with a couple of questions:

1. If I find a pair of shoes I like in stock at the shop in Budapest, will Vass be able to add steel toe taps 'on the spot' in the upstairs workshop others have mentioned?

2. (I can hear the collective groan) Any assistance on sizing? I'm usually a UK 11 in pretty much every EG last I've tried (except a suede pair I have on the 202 which are a 10.5), between a UK 10.5 and an 11 on different C&J lasts, and always a UK 11 in Trickers. I measure a UK 11E on a Brannock gauge, with a relatively slim heel compared to the rest of my foot.

I'm just weighing up a trip to Budapest to take my chances on styles but be sure of fit vs. faxing an MTO order with the opposite outcome.

well, the savings on paying in cash and getting a hold of their discounts, also the forint being on the lowest point/level i can remember, should cover all your expenses for the trip.

steel toe taps should be possible within a GT length in the nice restaurant next door.

go for it.

Does it still count as Appreciation if there are feet in them..? F last, cross-posted from Rock Your Socks. This pair has probably already made the rounds, since I'm the third owner, but still.

No need to be so shocked; they were worn I think a total of four times total first by Mr. Moo and then by Malford before me. Presumably they didn't fit.

Remember the distinction-- erotica is a scene with the suggestive use of a feather. Appreciation uses the whole chicken.
