Hi Everyone, deciding between OEII F Last in Brown Boxcalf (65) or Oxblood (66), if it were you, which one would get get? Which is more versatile? I was really after a dark brown shoe in this design, so not sure which to go for.

OEII F Last in Brown Boxcalf (65) vs Oxblood (66).

65 - http://vass-cipo.hu/kepek/08_Olasz/065_Kicsi.jpg

66 - http://vass-cipo.hu/kepek/08_Olasz/066_Kicsi.jpg

Anyone know what this shoe is: http://www.zimmermannkim.com/blog/2012/12/13/vass-old-english-ii-oxford-in-oxblood-boxcalf/#jp-carousel-746.

Also seen here: http://www.styleforum.net/t/307555/vass-f-last-oxblood-old-english-ii-45-5-12d

Looks like 65, but in oxblood, or 66 without medallion. Couldn't find it in the catalogue, so would it be a special order?

I think brown gets the edge for versatility but the oxblood actually goes with both navy and grey. I wear my oxblood more than my bordeaux coloured shoes. But not as frequently as mid to dark brown.

If your like most,  you already have plenty of shoes in brown.

I say get the Oxblood.

And Dark violet & Navy Blue jeans on the weekend....

100% Oxblood -

Bordeaux has more shine and looks like fresh blood.

My surgeon friend only wears oxblood/bordeaux calf

shoes - saves him a lot of hassle in the theatre.
