Maybe this can be requested? does anyone know? Anyway, atm I am quite torn between the two but I will give it some thought and we will see.

To my experience the AS are a bit "fixed" for the photo sessions. Non of the four pairs I've bought has had the burnishing seen on the pictures at AFPOS and the likes when delivered.
Quite easy to fix on your own though.

Thanks gents - yes, the monks are oxblood.  Love the colour.  They only look that red outdoors in direct sunlight.  Indoors they are a very deep black-red, and at night could pass for black.

That never goes out of style. Shell or calf? The double sole gives the shoe some real heft.

Yes. Those are wonderful. I do like the double sole as well. How does the sizing feel for you? I recall the both ordered P2 in roughly the same size and there was some discussion as to whether one of us made a mistake. I hope these fit perfectly.

Thank you RP - Mr L Vass was very encouraging in recommending the Black Suede/Calf combo.

I initially came in the shop for all black.  Now I want it in Oxblood after seeing your Monks! It looks

very versatile during day/night.
