Vass's various "cognac" colours are confusing as hell.  I was really expecting you to say 6319.  I swear they have them mixed up themselves sometimes on their own website, and I'm certain the "Ascot Shoes" listings muddle them even more.  How to order when you don't know what colour's what? facepalm.gif

(Anyway, that's a great colour and suits the shoe)

It's not Vass, so why here?.

But while we're at it, in my view, if a retailer asks customer to sign up to a narrow set of parameters for a group order, it's not exactly MTO either.  MTO means choice.  This is one colour, in two shapes, and your size.  That's not MTO, it's barely more than a colour-way.  Reminds me of Allen Edmonds' "Web Gems", except they normally do at least a couple of colours.

And, noting the wording, the really meaningful point on this is that despite being "MTO", it will not be "hand grade".  Just using some lasts that the hand grade collections and MTO usually use.  They do look like lovely shoes, and I'm very pleased with my bench grade Alfred Sargents.  But they were 115 Euros in a clearance.  Would I have paid £500?  Would I fuck. rolleyes.gif

I hear you. At the end of the day it is in an Austro-Hungarian style by an Austro-Hungarian maker. Not a bad combination!

I know this isnt the right place for this but as its been mentioned........ I nearly went for this until i actually delved into it and basically (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but you get an Exclusive spec based upon a Handgrade model with a choice of H/G last and one colour choice all for £490 (£570 inc Trees) which is at least a £100 upcharge on Exclusive pricing????

For not that much more than that I did a MTO Handgrade order, my choice of shoe, my choice of colour, my choice of last and my choice of various additions (toe tap personalisation etc etc) including lasted trees all to HANDGRADE spec !! IMHO i cant see what all the fuss is about, being charged at least £100 for what is still an exclusive spec shoe. Seems like the SF Group think ( well at least 6 per make up) strikes again !!!! peepwall[1].gifpuzzled.gif

I know I would really appreciate if someone could help us with the colors in this photo:

And line them up with the colors from the "established" color chart here:

Thanks!
