Here:

the P2 is sleeker in person than in pics. These feel substantial without being clunky. I'd love them in scotchgrain cognac or Oxblood..

6319 is not quite so orange as in first 2 pics.

colour comp with EG antique chestnut just for fun:

[spam] This pair in size 42 are actually for sale here. I ordered another pair a half size down. Now I finally understand all the Vass praise. Not only are they a sight to behold, they fit great.

Here's a photo of the original CXL color (boot) and darkened (derby). The derby was originally a touch lighter than the boot which you can tell at the top of the tongue of the derby where I didn't touch it. I darkened it with just one layer of dark brown cream and one layer of dark brown wax. I'll likely darken it more as it really took the polish well.

Just dropped my slr camera in the pavers and damaged it, these are the only 2 pics remotely close to being in focus, lcd screen doesn't work, weird noise and no focus, sucks. Camera experts, is this fixable?

Desperate for some F last oxblood oxfords.
Do I dare roll the dice on sizing?
Is there anyone who is a 7.5 C&J348 and 8UK normally who has got a successful fit in the new F last?

You wear the same size as me.I got a 41.5 on the F last.I'll be in Budapest next week, if you trace your feet size and PM me, i'll bring it along and ask their opinion on your size.

Great job of selling the NST to me. Now I just need to receive my first pair (austerity brogue) to make sure I have the fit down and then can start pondering a makeup of the NST

Damn you SF
Slew, JB, thanks. I got the measurements for the f last, size 45: 32.8 x 10.8-11. Length is spot on but width seems disproportionally narrow.

I never really trust outside sole measurements. Different lasts fit differently and you'll never really know until they are on your feet.
I agree but a ballpark measurement is useful. Just a touch narrow but maybe the measurements are off?

Sizing wise, I should be set: US12D = UK11 = Vass 45. Hoping, praying, agonizing that they fit

Is that the outsole measurement, or a measurement of the last itself?

That does seem really narrow. My feet are only a 10D-E or so and they're 27cm x 11.5cm and 27.5cm x 11.5cm (one foot is longer)

Measurement of the outsole. Atleast that's what I asked for.

I thought that one went TTS in F and up a 1/2 size in U last. My F last shoes are 42 = US. My U last are 42.5 = US9t. Course I haven't purchased for a couple of years. The F last has changed?
