Brokerage is a huge F.....service scam that carriers enter and subtly try to let on that is part of mandatory customs clearing. It's the equivalent of a store clerk charging you a brokerage fee to fill out a purchase request.

Thanks for that, I might try this next time.
The only problem is I never know which carrier will get the local delivery in New Zealand.
Although I'm slowly learning which companies have ageements with which, it'd be much easier if it were just one company that delivered from door to door.
I guess I could email the original company and find out.
