How does the New Peter last fit? TTS, size down or size up? And how does it compare to the U, K and F lasts?

I bought a sz 42 in the New Peter last a few months ago, but it's just a bit loose, hence the questions. I am a size 8.5E and can wear US 9/ 42 in quite a few brands.

Much as the Derby Budapester is the classic, in many ways I prefer how the Oxford looks. I wonder if that would be as elegant on the older-style lasts (Budapest/3636)?

I wear the same size (40.5) in P2, F and U last. I'm US 8D, so my guess is that you would likely be 41.5

your welcome - I don't know, I don't own one and never tried it, I don't know the difference even after watching the pics but I would guess same size as the U.

I have a pair of black cap-toes in the 3636, and they look remarkably similar to the Oxfords in the Peter last on the Vass-Cipo website. Different widths, of course, but the same general aesthetic. I just don't think I've ever seen a Budapest oxford on the Peter or 3636.

a couple of members asked me how the peter compares to the new peter, here it goes. The peter last (grain shoe) and the new peter last (suede shoe) look very similar to me
