Yes, that's what Rezso told me, he feels single soles are thin for that and they don't like it, but they do it sometimes. The flushed rubber toe tips work well for me on single soles and look good.

I don't like to send my babies on a pilgrimage, that's a good way to put it.

Understood - I did not know that.

Obviously yes, I've sent a request what should I do to have a flushed taps, waiting for the reply.
Want to have it this way:

Interesting; many thanks. Did not realize this was a single vs. double sole issue.

What I did with the low cost shoes - I used add a orthopedic inner-soles, that helps.
Now ordering the MTO I was able to told what I need - I asked for the medium support and they added. Try it, you will be pleased.

Very helpful - many thanks!

Slew: are you saying that you also ask for additional arch support from Vass?

Nope. It's good as is for me. Not sure it could get any better.

they serve them all. fortunately, i'm obviously not OCD in this regard.

well it's a curse G

and perhaps aesthetically the boulevards suit certain kinds of shoe more than others.  re: my previous post-  to be more specific, I prefer rubber on CBD  shoes, especially black, I feel it's more consistent with the formal look.  the little silver sliver at the front of a black oxford don't look rite to me.  however, the metal lasts better

OCD seems to be a curse, indeed. keeding.

i hear you walking. the boulevard is thinner than the other plates, anyway.

i have no long term experience with the rubber. although durability isn't really a factor, imo?

i can't put my finger on it. it's like i miss something, though. no OCD. have only two rubberized toes. will wear them out and get back.

Been using the rubber toes for some time now, a local cobbler installed them on some older loake and peals and they performed well. I don't do that anymore, he had to cut part of the stitching in the sole. An important note is that I don't live in a city that I have to walk a lot, so for me, anything is durable.
