I respect your opinion...I myself have a F last and do like it. Its when I start comparing to the 3636 and Budapesters (True Austro-Hungarian lineage) the aesthetics, contours, shape and most importantly the balance and fit is just not there...

This doesn't mean its a inferior last, but definetely not one of the greatest last ever.. to me.

Quite candidly I prefer to wear my Alden/peal monk anyday over my F....

I am curious about new Peter last lately. Although I don't have a soft spot for traditional A-H lasts, I like the anatomic contours, that asymmetrical curve that New-Peter last has. I am not sure which model to get on that last though.

I respect your opinion too, btw i have that peal monk in brown and i really like it, I wear them quite often.

I also recommend the new peter last, in case you don't own one yet, it looks beautiful in the plain toe derbies and theresianer.

Good question, I'm not sure. They look very similar. The Vass catalog recommend the norweger ST "on our Peter last, since the hand-sewn vamp looks best on this symmetric last with a rounder cap form". The P2 doesn't look that symmetrical, maybe that is the difference. I don't have any shoes in the Peter to compare.
