F last better choice IMO it's more forgiving - consider Italian polish? Adds a little patina as the shoe gets older. rubber toe taps are good if you decide to Topy later. Dark cognac (it's dark red, and my personal fav along with 6319 - and it goes with anything) and oxblood would be great in this style too. Calf over cordovan as the creasing can detract from a formal shoe. The Vass brown calf can be a little flat IMO but you can warm it up with a little red in the polish.
