Me have a feeling SOS not bought anything, merely typing for a lark, just going for the lulz.

Does anyone know how easy it is to take out the vass sockliner? My shoes are creaking, so I want to put some powder in, but I dont want to mess up the shoe

Do you mean the sockliner?
Yes, sorry
Pretty sure that's replaceable so shouldn't do any damage (except to the sockliner!) Looking at mine it seems to just be glued in. Why not just put the powder in without removing it tho?

Both have solid points. I differ from SoS in as much as light shell are summer, spring, early fall colors and boots, typically are worn in colder months where darker colors rule. I love light colored shell for warmer months, and some members can pull off light shell boots all year round @NAMOR can. I don't feel that I, or most, can.

Ahh---I see you meant the sockliner which is glued
Please note the insole, welt and upper are inseamed together. You will have to cut the seam and in essence literally destroying the shoe.
