I didn't know it was more expensive to order the Italian lasts (U, F, K), and their Italian polished finish? It's good to know, thank you.

If you subtract Hungarian vat from the price I paid buying direct (490 Euros) that price cones in around $540US. I imagine shipping would be a little higher and the risk of customs fees is there. I think you have to consider the cast iron return policy of the likes of NMWA if you have no experience with sizing Vass. If you buy direct and they don't fit, what then? Return them at upwards of 100 bucks shipping or B&S? I'd've bought them from NMWA during their sale if it wasn't for the guaranteed 27% VAT and customs hit to ship to the UK. Bottom line; you pay a little more for convenience and easier recourse in the event of a problem

I haven't ordered any of the Italian lasts directly myself, so I could be wrong.

This price list PDF says there's a 30 Euro upcharge, though. I don't know how current it is. And I believe all the prices on it include VAT.

I recall asking about Goyser and it was something like 15 or 20 Euros more.

Edit: Not fast enough... smile.gif

See, i received another pricing PDF when i inquired at the beginning of this year:

It did not make last distinctions. Either way, it was a moot point since i decided to use a proxy. Which i plan to use again, once i see how sizing works out...

OK. That's good to know. Thanks.

Thanks for the updated info.

There used to be no surcharge on the Italian lasted shoes.

Then they upped the prices on Italian models.

Okay. Now, they upped the Classic models to the same level.
