Those soles are pretty ugly.
Difficult to get them resoled?

They polarise folks eh? :)

Personally I think they are fantastic, and when the time comes for replacement..I have the option to go back to leather, or any other welted sole for that matter.

Woah, those soles!

Imagine ruining a beautiful pair of Vass dub monks with Commando soles? Hard to imagine a sane person doing it.

I don't mind the sole I just think monks are hideous in general.

They're a bit too extreme for my tastes. I wouldn't do it - I'd opt for a half rubber sole instead.

Dont tase me bro....but if Doc Maartens made a dub monk I'd imagine it would look like that.

In pebble grain, elephant, or even shell you'd have had a winner. In calf they are a bit too much for my taste. Although on those days when the weather is wretched they'll be looking pretty smart out on the street.

Aesthetically they look fine to me, kind of logical to have all that heavy style of double monk with tank soles. They look like two irons:) Nice looking shoes.

Does no one actually want the perfect Fall boots I'm selling in Cognac scotchgrain in my signature? Sheesh. What's with you people? :^)

Just lowered the price. If they're not sold soon then off to my dad as part of his Christmas presents.

Not just so sure on the no cap-toe boot, else I'd've bought them a long time ago.
