It's really down to personal preference. I like a double sole for the firmer feeling underfoot and the extended wear before resoling. I also like the aesthetics of the double-to-single transition. Others will have different preferences.
Can someone with experience with vass help me out. I'm interested in their antique cognac boots. What's the best way to order them from the US. Should I contact vass directly? Is notch still doing proxies?
My first pair... Oxblood double monk x Epaulet. First went for an Alt Wein at No Man Walks Alone, but the P2 last way too narrow and long for me. Really uncomfortable. F last is slightly wider, really made much more sense for me. Maybe I'll get an Alt Wein in the 3636 when I go to Budapest in May.
