^^^ Fantastic!  Bordeaux is such a lovely shade, and your shine job really made the toe caps pop.  Love the U-last.

Hoodog, you've done a cracking job on them. They're a lovely deep colour. Very impressive all round thanks for sharing. nod[1].gif

I like my chunky Marlow wingtips. Are these going to be chunkier?

How does this sound for a shoe?

• Budapester wingtip derby
• P2
• Dainite sole
• Normal welt

Only thing left to decide is the material.

I'm stuck between

• Dark brown calf
• Antique cognac calf
• Dark brown pebble

Pebble looks great in a Buapester.

+1 on pebble. That shoe would be bomb proof!

Do they offer antique cognac pebble grain?

Some potential there. Also, perhaps one could get a better version by getting Cognac and putting a lot of Sno-Seal or Saphir Renovateur on.

I think dark brown pebble is a strong contender now.

Anyone have better pictures of a Budapester wingtip in dark brown pebble?

All I can find is this picture of an F-last shoe with a mix of pebble and boxcalf
