Any recommendations for which shoe polish to use on red cognac?

I use a neautral wax, and touch up with a light coat of Saphir Mahogany.

I admire the effort although it's too Italian-inspired for my conservative taste. smile.gif Besides, I don't think that would handle the MI snowfall well right now.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods G, I hear it's record setting there.

Terror, do you use dye for it, or just cream (meaning permanent or temporary)

Looks like a Septieme Largeur-style "patina" using dye painted directly onto the stripped down shoe.  I like the colour, and the polish job is impressive, but I can't say I love the streaks in the dye this method makes.  I suppose it's quirky and interesting, and some of these patina artists do some really fun stuff. But on a shoe this traditional, and in this colour, I can't help but think that a more traditional burnish with polish would have suited better.

Still, they're not my shoes so who cares what I think? :)
