P2 and New Peter are the same. I think he was asking for a comparison between the P2 and the RL marlow 325 last.

I just noticed a familiar pair here:

Can't wear them now - they're famous!

Haha was just reading that - I assumed you had been in touch!  Congratulations on your newfound fame.  Can't wait to see your G&G bespoke - and I'm sure he'll want to post those too. ;)

Nah - just a random selection on his part. I have to say, it kinda made my morning as I've always enjoyed his blog.

No G&G bespoke on the horizen for me Mimo - you must be mixing me up with some other lucky soul.

I'm sure you said you were being measured up at a trunk show at Leatherfoot or something...man, I need to sleep more.

Anyway, Vass porn will more than suffice for now.  Honestly, I like it more anyway. :)

Ah yes - I did get meaured up by Mr. Girling - but that was just to confirm my best fit for the RTW line. So you're not totally imagining things.

Good.  Both my sanity and your baller status, remain intact.

Cross post from the NMWA thread: U-cap derbies in oxblood.

Also, just arrived: R last oxfords in antique cognac grain on double sole.

Do you have a top shot of the u cap?
I have this one, but I feel as if the shot distorts the shape of the shoe.

It is on the New Peter and I don't feel as if this photo looks quite right.
You think it makes it look wider?
Yes. I feel as if the shoe on my right foot looks off in particular. I think they look terrific in person... But then I bought them. smile.gif
