Yes look great, go for what you really want. I agree with the other posters that suggested a double sole, good luck

I want this to be a very casual shoe, hence the 360. I think the 270 is great,
but does maintain some sense of formality.

no it doesn't. both looks great, imo.

IMHO, these type of Norweg toes look more finished . I do not like that open hide sticking out , it looks rustic and slightly geriatric. 1. Carmina 2. Vass Norweg boot.

who cares? different traditions of shoemaking. each to his own, imo. in a free market you can chose whatever floats your boat.

Just dropped my slr camera in the pavers and damaged it, these are the only 2 pics remotely close to being in focus, lcd screen doesn't work, weird noise and no focus, sucks. Camera experts, is this fixable?

Can someone give me a ballpark price for a straightforward standard production Vass RTW model like a Budapester on the 3636 in cognac calf or an Alt Wien on the Budapest last in scotchgrain? I'd be ordering from the US, and I have pretty average 44ish/UK 9.5 feet. Am I right in thinking that I'd pay in Euros w/o VAT?

congrats!, looks awesome.
Regarding the camera, bad luck sometimes replacing the camera may cost less than repair imo.

EDIT- I missed the word "slr" in such case it doesn't hurt to take it to a repair shop..sorry

Thanks.

Yeah I think you're right. My wife is traveling for a couple of days and first thing I do is break her camera taking photos of shoes, great. I have to replace it asap.

Look nice...how does the K last fit as compared to the U. Do you recommend sizing up a half size for them as you would normally for the U?

I would take the same size in K and U, they are pretty similar, just different toes. The U on this pic is unfortunately a half size larger because http://www.margoandralph.com/ said they were 43,5 but were actually 44 but I can still use them but are not as snug fitting as I prefer on my K-lasted 43,5s
