My only Vass pair. These are MTO, F-last double monks in Oxblood with arch support, cost me 400 euros directly from Vass-cipo. They made it in 1 month and even reduced the price in the invoice so that I had not to pay customs (although I didn't ask for it).
Very nice soft leather, few nice details.
It fits extremely comfortable from the beginning and I'm worrying wouldn't they become too bbig when I break-in?
Two sad moments:
The strips are sewed, not connected by strings like on my Bontoni or on the JL William. This means I need to open at least upper strips to take them off!
Also I expected the two-color sole, I didn't order it but thought it is by default. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I would better take the shoe off without unstripping them.

this is a great comparison, thanks for posting.

Fritzl, would you say this is an accurate, albeit unperfect way to compare last shapes and sizes?

Yes they do.

I have a flatfoot, not too much, but still uncomfortable. That's why I asked Vass to add the arch support, they agreed and I should say result is great!

Many thanks for sharing this (and all the pics). Can you say a bit more about the arch support; did you e.g. specify what type or thickness? I have no idea how these work but would be interested to learn more.

Also, you may want to consider having Vass doing a flush metal tap for you instead of adding it on afterwards.

Vass is reluctant to putting flushed metal toe taps on single leather soles, don't know exactly why, other makers do it.
