They fit well, same size as my F and P2, a little more snug in the ball area of the foot but no problem there. I can see how the U is difficult, if my foot was a bit wider and my instep higher I would take 1/2 size up if that makes sense. In short, for me, the size was a success, I can understand how others would need to size up, with the right instep, kind of tricky. Wide feet and low instep need not apply.

I like the shoe, super nice leather and well made as always, U last seem kind of "thin" or unsubstantial compared to other Vass lasts,
kind of pretty, cute, delicate (girlish?) ala G&G, Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
pretty nice for a wholecut imo. I will keep them, but it will be my first and last U.

based on the pictures you've posted your G&G looks more girlish, imo.

Interesting, could you elaborate on the reasons?. I haven't compared them side by side. I will post a shot of both whole cut side by side to compare. It's kind of a half joke (half serious) anyway, I really like both.

the proportions of the shoe, which are part of the g&g signature, are more effeminate.

pictures speak for themselves

g&g have more curves for sure, the Vass look like a more Italian shoe, long and narrow.
