Looking super nice man!
I'm awaiting a pair of wingtip galosh (aka balmoral in Europe...) oxfords in walnut museum:-)

Just curious does anyone in here wear Vass boots year round with their suits / odd trousers? Anyone just like boots?

I wear boots year round and it's never been an issue for me. I might avoid a pair that I prefer to wear with thicker socks on days with brutal humidity, but that's about it.

I stick to a few pairs of derby boots for casual summer wear. Tall bal boots with a suit in August looks a bit off to me.

I'm pretty much a boots exclusively guy. Typically in a 22 day work month, it will be 17 days with boots. But, then I'm not a guy that believes in convention guiding my choices of dress.

Also, back in the day the only formal footwear available was boots!

That's good to hear from some of you. I've been thinking for a long time to go all boots if not for the very reason I find pant cuffs sit better on the shoe.

The alternative to that would be loafers; I love me some loafers.

Split toe boots today.

Thank you sir. It's gray museum. Not quite G&G pearl gray but similar IMO.

^it looks nicer than my J.L´s pewter museum.  Well done.

I'm just as shocked those haven't sold - and that's a giveaway price. Not to mention a very versatile makeup. Long gone if they were my size.

I'd be all over these if they were a 42.5...that price is a bargain for NIB with lasted shoe trees.

That's pretty much the perfect chukka to me, I just can't swing them right now. baldy[1].gif

Would've bought them at that price if they were a 42.
