Hope this helps with those curious about the SP.

Did you request the all black sole?

I know I'm not the only one with this problem. Which leads me to the conclusion some of you resourceful fellas have most likely found a solution. Here's the problem.

I really love all of my Vass boots, but just like the lesson we all learned when we found that beautiful, perfect woman, there's always a catch. Whenever I get a pair of Vass boots, they use those little shoe trees that are meant for normal shoes, not boots. Consequently, they are a bear to get out. Do any of you have a solution to this conundrum?

So I was sitting here, right after typing this, playing with my cat with a strand of yarn and the solution occurred to me. But, if any of you have a better solution I'd love to hear it.

Yes, I specifically requested it to compliment the black wholecut upper. It's probably easier and less time consuming than the 'V' one so I'm sure they'll accomodate.

Hi all, do you know how does mid brown suede look like? I really want some snuff suede kind of brown, but I found different pictures. Please see below.

This is the mid brown #1 I want:

http://www.styleforum.net/t/523574/final-drop-nib-vass-chukka-boot-mid-brown-suede-43-5

Here is another mid brown #2 that I don't want:

http://www.styleforum.net/t/429812/vass-u-last-size-41-mid-brown-suede-double-monks-500

Which one is the real mid brown?

Thanks for answering.

Your best bet is to email Vass the picture of what you want.

Use a shoe horn, put it behind the wooden ball at the top of the tree, use the shaft of the boot as leverage and pop it out, kind of like a wedge.

I use a pair of the Vass lasted 3-piece trees in the boot where trees are the hardest to get out. I honestly would stick them in my other Vass boots as well if I could get my hands on a few more pairs.

That's a good solution. I prefer the yarn,!because I don't like the idea of the force I had to exert on the back of the shoe to pry the tree out.

I did not know they offered them. Thanks. Will make sure I request those from this point forward.
