F last is a great last! I'm sure Mr Kuti will be able to help you nail the correct length and width.

Casual Thursday.

PSA: Heads up on a Vass Valway Pre-order, (if you haven't subscribed to the mailing list.)

2 sweet make-ups, looks like delivery will be Sept/Oct, which is ideal IMO.  Choose F or P2 last and sole, which is a nice touch!   I was all over the anti-cognac/dark brown scotch, but that bordeaux/red suede has me thinking twice...   Anyways I'd love to see it make the 12 minimum to get it off the ground;  no affiliation on my end so contact vendor for any questions.

I'm in but can't decide. I'll be swinging by Jok's place to check out the samples. Both winners for sure.

Especially since the Canadian dollar is down. Like $750-$800 US.

Hmmm...interesting...of course they have a Rider Boot gmto going on as well...and they're offering shell at a slightly higher price than these Valway...and in any case I still want a couple Galways...but....it is an interesting idea... I might have to PM RogerP for sizing details.lol

Took me about 5 minutes to cave like a sinkhole and join that Valway preorder. I chose the red suede, F last, and HAF sole with metal toe tap. My wife will be so happy.

I tried on the SP-last in Budapest and it is very narrow. If I remember correctly Vass doesn't make it in the wider widths? I have wide feet and had a modified last made after first ordering a couple of too large pairs in the U-last. Considering a pair of modified SP austerity wingtip galosh gold museums for my next order (wingtip balmoral for you non-US guys).

These are on my modified F-last in plum museum:

Would you say the SP is just as wide as the U last?

Mr. Kuti explained that the toe is more generous.
