To be fair, both Ascot and @Notch
Take very good care of you and certainly Ascot resolve any issues without fail. Never had to return anything with Notch. I find NMWA's regular pricing to be pretty high, more than $100 anyway. Sale prices are pretty good if you're in th US

I have no reason to doubt you, and my tolerance for risk is probably lower than yours. Cheers.

Just got these beauties in! I'm renewing my love affair with Shell.

Man vass really stepped it up. They always had quality shoes, but now with the newer, more classicially english designs, theyve really distinguished themselves. Absolutely the best value in shoes today

Exactly! Vass has really stepped up their game. For me, Vass is really the best bang for your buck.

They're on F last, with a lower instep. Namor, maybe you can just darken the facings in line with the dark brown shell? I think the facings being the same leather will also make them wear better/more comfortably, so it worked out for the best!

So Vass modified a last for you? Is this made through their semi-bespoke process? And was this done in person or over e-mail?

Those are both winners Jok. If they were my pair, I'd likely forgo the goyser on the bal boot.

The all shell Valway is comprehensively full of win. Kind of surprised @NAMOR hasn't snagged them already.

Well done. I need to pick up some more suede spray so hopefully I can check them out in person.

That was my initial impression, too. But the more I looked at it, the more the Goyser welt made them look like badass space trooper boots.

I think I'm gonna have to get a pair for next fall.

(That is, if I'm still solvant after my "Villiam 2" monk chukka, two pairs of Alden longwings, Alden shortwing, and Bonafe stitch cap come in. Oy)

Thanks Roger! Lighting wasn't perfect when I took the photos but the shell valway looks a lot better in person.

That was my thought when I designed the boots, I think it adds a little more character. There'll be a GMTO with Vass for model for next fall.
