^^^ Oh my.... I could really groove on a mid-brown version of that.

My lady and I agreed the most beautiful women we've seen so far have been in Sicily and Budapest. No contest.

This place is a typographer's and graphic designer's dream. Their bars have so much personality and great design. Our bars in America are garbage in comparison, in terms of aesthetics and marketing.

I still have loads of IG pics to post. Also, we found that the city itself seems friendly to fashion designers. There were several major pavilions with indie designers showing off their wares. I had to snag some sweet art, too (3 prints and a kindle cover).

Pretty sure that one is plum museum and Bordeaux II scotch grain. Again, I think if you're a 43 or higher, this one looks better in F last than U last. The one I posted is in U last, and other profiles show the snout pretty pointy. But it's soooooo pretty.

Roger, half the time I want to wear a non conservative pair with an outfit and some people cry that it's "too much," but then I come across a pic from you showing that a similar pairing works damn well.

Cheers buddy.

I would go with F simply because I know it works for me fit-wise in a bal boot.  But as that Bal boot happens to be Bordeaux, I'd go for a different colourway.

General question, what's your favourite Valway makeup? or if there was GMTO, which makeup would it be? I myself am leaning towards brown upper with a lighter shade of grain for the shaft.

That's an interesting question, as I was thinking about Valway makeups yesterday:

1) antic cognac calf lower with brown grain shaft to mimic the iconic EG makeup
2) black shell lower and black grain shaft
3) burgundy shell lower and oxblood grain shaft

I think the style is very well suited to a mixed media style. Textured shaft and smoooth uppers.....

...... Calf of shelll?!

As a married man, I wasn't prepared for the plethora of good looking women. Not even the goulash, thermal spas, or Vass could distract me from my occasional "wondering eyes" :embar:

^ omg dont go to prague. And certainly not belgrade, serbia. Unbelievable. And not even a famous shoe store to justify my travels. Heaven help
post #18612 of 20251

What? Prague does indeed have at least one decent men's shoe store (carrying brands such as Vass)... or at least they did a year and a half ago...They also have a couple of the English brands with stand alone stores there (I believe I saw Barker and Cheaney) . You're welcome for the justification... ...but I'll agree with the women...My wife still has family in the area...:D

+1 to the Prague women! Tho it's a few years since I was there. Between them and the 6 foot plenty Russian model types. I got a few askance looks from the missus!

The iconec EG makeup gets my vote. 3rd one you mentioned is pretty cool too.

My fiance and I spent 13 days in Budapest in October and barely scratched the surface of what the city offers. Our biggest regret was being turned away at the futbol stadium as we had not been properly fingerprinted before the game.
