I was told here a couple of times from a respected member that I could size down or up 0.25 while ordering MTO. I thinking it was member @ozzyjones (Sorry if I am wrong). who advise me so from his direct experience(I understand)
I stand correct. Sorry & Thanks for the info.

Not me Zapas, tho I have read the same thing, even people ordering a different size for each foot!

Fantastic idea, thanks!

Ok, has anyone here ever ordered Vass for their wife/significant other? My wife is very anti-menswear looking shoes, but she kinda likes the mid brown theresianers. (And I like the dark brown) Just curious how anyone has sized. Definitely would be F last for her and she's pretty reliably women's US 8.5 in most brands. Just wondering if anyone has any clue what the conversion would be. I can email Rezso tomorrow and see what he thinks. Her UK 6.5 Carminas are a bit too big so she's probably UK 6.

My understanding is women's sizes are US size - 2.5 = UK size. Your wife would be a UK6 by that.

I think she's a women's EU 39 in most stuff. I'm not very confident about the conversion though. It would just be a weekend type of shoe.

Instead of guessing how about a second honeymoon in Budapest.

Thinking about picking up a pair of Vass from this mass drop:

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/vass-suede-theresianer-boot

Which seems like an amazing deal.  I was wondering if I could get any sizing advice on the P2 last (unless the F last would be a better fit) as these would be my first pair from Vass.

I have a rather high instep, so probably the best fitting last I've come across is Enzo Bonafé's 363MOD.  Carmina Rain fits fairly well but a bit wide in the heel.  Anyhow, here are some of my other sizes:

Enzo Bonafé 363MOD and 804: 9.5UK

Carmina Rain: 9.5UK

Allen Edmonds 65 last (park ave, strand, etc.) 10.5E US

Alden Barrie: 10D

Viberg 2045: 10

C&J 335 Last: 10E UK

C&J 365 Last : 9E UK

I was thinking 43.5 on the P2 last might be my best bet?

I take the same size in Vass F last, EB shoes/boots, and Carmina Rain……which is 9.5UK

Not a bad idea, we actually have a big anniversary coming up next year. I think I've already managed to talk her into Scotland though, for one of my my other hobbies smile.gif

She has to travel to Basel a half dozen times a year though. Maybe I'll use miles to tag along and pop over to Budapest.

LOL! She used to hate Scotch and I even only really got into it when she was pregnant with our first kid, since she didn't care if I drank it. Now I'll come home from a performance (I'm a musician) and she'll tell me "we're running low on Islays."

She's pretty tolerant of my Vass habit, so if I can find a pair for her, it's all good.

Also....it takes the sting out of getting a pair for yourself if you can also get one for her! wink.gif

I disagree. That's one less pair of shoes I could have had for myself! :)
