The Ultimate Vass (Footwear) Thread (Pictures, reviews, sizing, etc...) - Page 1189

I already have the Alfred Sargent Cambridge in snuff suede (NMWA version) so the mid brown isn't really on my radar, but I'm really tempted by the dark brown. Does anyone have any pics of Vass dark brown suede "in the wild?" BTW, I already own Vass red brown and mid brown suede and both are really great suede colors.

So I have 3 pairs of vass all on the F last in a 43.

2 Bals and 1 Blucher
The bals are a bit too snug in the toe box, the blucher feels better but still a hair snug. Should I order the P2 in the suede boot?
Its such a stupid deal to pass

The price is remarkable considering that Massdrop isn't a charity, they only have four buyers, surprised SF hysteria hasn't gone into high gear.smile.gif

I'm not familiar with this website & I don't see that they have a group limit...shall I assume that I can join the order in a week at the same price or is this something that needs to be jumped on?
Don't know if you have to jump on it, normally more people are needed to unlock lower prices here it's the one price and 20 needed. I imagine it's 20 needed to place the order not sure if it's also 20 max.
They also have a sale for Woodlore epic shoe trees, for your other shoes that don't have them included.

Certainly looks interesting. Re the massdrop: I'm a UK7 in the Carmina Rain and Forest last. I do well with a wider fitting shoe and a higher instep. Should I go for the P2 or the F last? F last certainly looks to have a more shapely toe, P2 looks a little too brick-like there. Thanks!

The other suede colors are more interesting, but dark brown is easy to wear and would look nice with the added details of the high boot. They need cleaned, but hide dirt and wear better than what it looks on the right one in the photo.

43 P2 should be perfect. With the give of the suede, even another 43 in F might work. I've gone back and forth between 43 and 43.5 on F, but my 43 F suede fits very well.

I would follow RogerPs advise in any case.
Should you go direct to Vass MTO remind you can order 0.25 size down.
I would not Take 42.5 E width

@Zapasman posted this chart below a while back. There was some discussion last Sept. on exact terminology but IMO the F last is quite low in the A - B area, while P2 is not at all and is quite roomy there. Not sure if that helps you, but that's my experience anyway.

That's fucking amazing to see. A and B is where I have issues with my Vass shoes. Thank you so much.

Length wise are both lasts the same?
