Cheers gents.  Don - I'm figuring that out as this is my first pair of green shoes, but grey trousers of any kind would seem an easy match, and perhaps a few different shades of blue.

I asked Rezso and he mentioned thickness he mentioned the hide is a bout 1.5 – 1.7 mm and they don't apply any finishing as it's a bit like nubuck.  And from what I've read Elephant is a bit thicker than hippo. If you're interested in that hide, EB is able to source a few different colors and some other guys (and maybe myself) may be doing a gmto on that one.

I'm pretty much going to be looking for all the hard to procure leathers in 2016 and have a few planned already.   I've been meaning to ask you, aside from G&G, are you aware of anyone else who works with Mountain Ram or Shrunken Goat?

Boots should be coming in next week and will most def be doing a review on it.

Not that I know of. I know Rozsnyai works with elephant. But haven't enquired about other materials

Antonio Meccariello has just received some stock of mountain ram. You could check him out.

I'm not sure who works with shrunken goat though.

Could you keep in the loop for your planned EB GMTO by the way?

Dairy, I imagine... and am recently feeling a bit pedestrian on account of saying so.

If I'm reading this correctly, I'm pretty sure hippo shoes would get seized by USA customs, as they are on the CITES endangered species list:
