I have that exact shoe in red cognac. So comfortable!

So vass had their trunk show, did they debut the new last?

Also LOL @ the guy who complains about darkened areas and creasing on his museum shoes. Of course museum will have darker areas. Also, that area that has creasing? Guess what - when you wear the shoes, there will be creases.

I've got these beauties incoming! They look stunning, although I see a metal tap installed on the soles instead of the rubber one I requested (dammit, I push off mostly with my toes, and walk primarily on concrete and hardwood floors). Oh well, not big enough of a deal to mention it. Still pumped to get them soonish.

Those monks look absolutely terrific peppercorn! Need a pair of those in my shoe closet too :-)

About the taps: I had a pair of old english delivered with metal toe taps (according to my request) but I had to have them replaced by rubber ones due to i have the same usage areas you are listing... Metal is def not ideal indoors so would encourage you to drop Rezsó an email requesting rubber ones instead.
Wear in good health!

I'm 43.5 in F & U. Tried on the SP and would be a 43, as quite a lot of heel slip in the 43.5.

Just like to comment that the service at Vass has been fantastic. It's a real joy going into their shop. Although when my last MTO's were ready I just had to order another two pairs. I had a very minor stitch issue on the heel, which they were more than happy to fix and quickly too. Budapest is a fantastic place to live anyway but Vass make it that bit more special.

Thanks for advice regarding the taps. Mr Kuti is having them fixed for me.

My first Vass. I think they fit... will need to wear them a bit more to really know.

Purchased from Notch on SF so these were super cheap. Really fortunate because I think they're gorgeous.

Beautiful. I think that leather might be the definitive color/texture for Vass' version of the NST.
