Unfortunately I have to sell my pair as it's just a little too tight in the toe box on the K last for me. They're up on ebay and grailed if anyone is interested. I waited 6 months for this pair too. Here are some pics in outdoor lighting.

Absolutely fine. There might be a little creasing there just from putting the trees in. The shoddy leather has certainly been sorted out.

Enjoy them!

VSC (venetian shoe cream) diluted with some solvent would be my guess

I have never handled VSC, so I can not tell you.  I am sure it had some solvent; the smell was very intense.  I really think it was a home made recipe: the texture was not totally liquid and the color was kind of yellow-ish/orange. It remind me to a beaten egg with a bit of milk to cook a french omelette.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Granted, this looks better than the previous pair, but the pairs I see posted here don't have the crease marks.

Thoughts?

youre insufferable. i wish vass the best

good sport, these look fantastic. i honestly didnt even see the goyser until the second time. i think you did well keeping these. cool detail that i didnt notice the first time is the lack of pinking on the punch cap toe; i think i prefer it
