Seems to be: London model+ P or P2(can someone confirm) +shell+ 270 goyser.
Until so far I never thought of wearing a PTB.
What do you think? Keepers?

Thank you for your hints.

Shell is always a keeper in my books. the wear doesn't look too bad as well. I say keep it. (that's if you don't have a similar pair.)

those shell PTBs are great. love how they are cut close to the welt.

I would keep them but once again I like shell !!

What is the correct pronunciation of "Vass"?

I assumed it would rhyme with "mass", but recently I heard @gdl203 pronounce it to rhyme with "cash". I know that Hungarian pronunciation is a bit weird with respect to its spelling, so I'm thinking maybe Greg knows something I don't.

Thanks for the kind words, Gents!  Really happy joining the Vasshhh community. I think I should start planning for my next one!!

It's like a cross between "wash" and "vosh". The v sort of wobbles between w and v, the a wobbles between a and o, and the ss is pronounced as sh.

My mom is Hungarian and is not familiar with Vass, but based on its spelling she thought it would be pronounced Vush.

As an aside, was anxiously waiting for a delivery, Fedex came Wednesday after 6pm when no one was home and didn't come today due to the Papal visit in NYC. Argh.

I'd always pronounced it like "mass" but I definitely like the proper pronunciation better.

My Hungarian friend pronounces it "Vahsh"

I was delighted to get the call from Vass to say that my two MTOs and belts were ready for collection. While in the shop I tried the new SP last. sizing for me would be a 1/2 size down from the F & U lasts.

I just bought a pair of U-last single monks in 42.5 but I'm not sure that they'll fit.  I'm a 10D on the AE #5 last, do you guys think that they would work for me?

I'm 9D on AE 65, and 42 on Vass F-last fits well. My recollection was that some size up .5 from F to U, so they might be small on you.

Do you think that I could get it fixed by just taking it to a cobbler to get stretched?
