Come to think of it, owning more than 2 pairs of dress shoes at all would be considered feminine by most men, LOL

Maybe my 3rd pair of Vass should be opera pumps!

No, brother. I'm laughing. Hence the "LOL."

You're right, they are a bit dandy, but I don't really have anything comparable, mostly captoe boots and casual bluchers.

According to you.

Must be all that tofu I've been eating.

I'll allow it is rather dandy.

we still get some weird ass comments up in here from time to time

I'm figuring, dandy  schmandy.  Maybe if you were wearing them with shorts they could qualify but under a

   pant leg nah.

Vass museum plum MTO from Ascot. size 43.5 - F last, maybe I should have gone 44. Very snug fit, good in the morning, gets tight by the end of the day. For comparison I am 9.5 in almost all Carmina and Lobb, 10 for Ed Green and G&G.

So you think they will stretch out a little as they break in?

An interesting fact is I take a 44.5 (whole size larger) in U last. Is this normal?

What is your opinion for the K last?

A lot of people go up 1/2 a size from F to U and as you say that your F's are snug, that doesn't sound surprising.

wow, a full size larger just for U ?  I don't find the U in the same width that much more slender from ball to toe.

yeah, I think you'll get enough stretch to stick with it.
