It's kind of a calf version of your awesome shell boot. I'm admittedly way too neurotic with my shell, and wanted something I would actually wear a lot even if there was a 10% chance of rain.

I didn't specifically request it, but it does look pretty great like that!

Congrats also do you take same size on all your vass shoes & boot EU 43, or do you go up half a size on boots.

A buddy of mine wants to pick up a pair of Vass in the F-Last.

Generally speaking:

7.5UK Rain = 41.5 F Last

7.5UK Forest = 41.5 F Last

7.5E 202 = 41.5 F last

7.5E 606 = 41.5 F last

Is this correct?

The only Vass boot I have so far is an F last chukka and I took the same size. I ordered these the same size as well. I'm hoping the P2 boot isn't too big ...

Me (all medium/standard width)

Carmina (Rain, Forest, Inca): UK7,5 (Inca not the best fit, instep problems like Simpson)

Carmina (Simpson): UK8 (ill fitting)

C&J (348, 337): UK7,5

G&G (MH71, GG06, TG73): UK8

EG (888): UK8

Enzo Bonafè (946, 804): UK7,5

Vass (U): EU41,5

Vass (F): EU41

Hope that helps.

NOTE: Not everyone size down 1/2 size from U to F. Generally speaking, I'd say it's 50/50. At first the size 41,5 were good on the F-last, but after 10-15 wears I felt that they became to sloppy around the ankles, so I sold my pair and got a pair 1/2 smaller. They're a much better fit for my feet.

You know what's funny I am US 9.5D standard width. I take 8.5UK carmina, 9UK G&G on TG73 last but I take 8.5UK on EG 606 Dover. Is this normal meaning do you feel Dover run little roomier than other last. General recommendation is you go down half from your US size. I tried 9UK Dover felt it was roomier.
