Vass golf shoes (bespoke, will order the next pair with some minor adjustments to the last). Antique cognac and white calf leather. Second time wearing these, I think they are great!

Those are the best looking golf shoes I've ever seen. What last are they on, and what kind of adjustments would you have made? Im afraid to ask what you payed for them. Thanks for posting.

I can do so if you like me to.

Am I right you mean the outsole measurements?

Hi Louis,  Yes, the outsole. Thanks a lot.

I've done this for the first time and with a tape measure, not sure how reliable my values are.

The outsole is exactly 285mm long.
I am not certain about the width though.
The greatest beeline between the left and right edge of the sole is 101mm. Green line.
The diagonal between the two widest points of the sole, the "ballline" is 103mm. Blue line.

Picture courtesy of Skoaktiebolaget. It shows a pair of Carmina 732 in black calf on the Forest last.

I hope this still is some help to you.

Thank you Louis. It helps me narrow down a bit. The problem is I have 2 shoes that measures nearly the same (+/- 2mm) as yours and they fit me great. Yet my latest purchase which measures exactly the same is a quarter to half a size too loose. May I be a bit presumptuous in asking what's the measurements of your feet with socks on? I understand perfectly if you don't feel comfortable in providing that info.

Do you know whether you have a low/regular/high instep?
Besides the instep the shape of the toe box, heel as well as the arch support influence the fit of your shoes.
Maybe your most recent pair is more generous in one of those?

No problem with sharing the length/width of my feet.
I will do a paper sketch and measure it later today.
I will wear thin socks like I would when wearing the Vass, use a thin pencil to keep the variation of the sketch from the original dimensions of my feet as low as possible, as well as place my feet on the sheet of paper when seated.

They are bespoke, based on the F last. They have to make it a whole lot wider, and higher at the instep as well. They do feel a bit big in length so I will have them relasted after modifying my last :)

The price I paid was about €500, because they alreade had my last in stock + I was able to pay in cash in the store :)

Hello Mr. Notch, does the bespoke has the same construction as their normal offerings? Same leather cuts and outsole?

I have flat feet/low instep. The new shoe in question was 0.5 size bigger but that's what most people normally upsize with this particular brand as it is known to be narrow but I suspect I am on the small side of 6UK and coupled with the low instep resulted in the loose fit. I am hoping not to make a 2nd mistake. Thanks for your help. Btw, I am a 26.2 x 9.5.

Please, call me Tom :)

Yes I believe so! At first I had a regular F last shoe, made in a G/H width, and after this I decided to have my own lasts made! The leather is exactly the same, as are all other materials and construction methods :)
