thanks man. the vass p2 last version looks alot like the alden cigar nst version that leathersoul released several years ago. i noticed that the vass pair has black edge trim (would have liked brown instead) but i guess the shoe maker thought it would be a better match for the black rubber commando sole.

Don't size up. Go width up. If still doesn't fit the last ain't for you.

Don't know. I was just asking.

I take a 8.5 in carmina rain

Somewhat wide - yes, but I can wear normal or wide width shoes

I take 8.5UK in carmina & 9UK in every English shoe like EG, G&G & AS It's a good comfortable fit for me & went with 9Uk on k last.

Assuming 9UK is size 43 in Vass speak, you are already taking half size up with K last.

EG,G&G are half size up from English size. JL, C&J, Trickers are standard. Vass is standard EU.

Go wide if you taking U or K lasts. They are both extremely narrow in the toe box.

You are absolutely correct bud. I think I can honestly fit in K last with 42.5 but sized up just to be safe. And I have heard it's very narrow in toe box. I am going by assumption that I can fit it if it's anything like G&G TG73 last. So kind of like trial & error.
