Is this by request only? Or is it standard feature on all boots?

I would like to know this as well.

i was told it would be standard on all models (regardless of last) going forward but again double check. the u last already had the slim leg opening.

NAMOR that boot is killer! Majorly in my wheelhouse. Nicely done

Good to know that's its standard now in boots.

Re-measured brannock - 8.5/9UK

CJ - 8E or 8.5D - these are snug, but good fits.

My brannock says 11US & I fit about 9.5US in AE, Alden & 9 UK to 8.5Uk so I would not go by brannock. But to each there own. Just wanted to give you my input.

I agree. Very misleading.

I tried on some CJ and, in most, I am about 8E/8D/8.5E.

If going VASS, should I stick with 43?

In G&G & AS & very sure about EG I take 9Uk which correlates with 9.5US at least it says that inside of a shoe. Based upon that I have ordered 43 on vass. My EG will be coming in next week & vass in two weeks hopefully. But yea I would say give 43 a try.

I'm a definite 10 1/2 U.S. and a definite 43.5 in Vass (at least in the F last) In EG, 9 1/2 was to small for me. I'm .crossing my fingers that those 43's won't be to big for you.

Why go 43? 8 or 8.5 UK would be 42 or 42.5

If I am correct he said he has wider foot but I am not sure he said that & I was under impression he had wide feet.

Thank you bud, I took 43 on K last so as a precaution I took 43. But honestly all English shoes such as AS & G&G 9UK has worked very well so I figured why not try my luck with 43 on vass on K last.

Also if I would go one full size down I know it would not work for AS & G&G as far as EG goes I will soon find out which fit works. I think only one full size drop works for carminas because it's bigger width shoe to begin with. At least that's my experience so far.

Dont size up if you dont have to, Vass is available in various widths for their different lasts so just go up a width rather than length. 42.5G would be a 9.5E US.
